Smoking is not allowed in classrooms, lecture rooms, laboratories, auditoriums, warehouses, attics, storage areas, elevators, libraries, gymnasiums, shops where woodworking is in process, posted areas, and any other areas where receptacles for discarded smoking materials are not available.

Appropriate areas where smoking may be permitted include smoking lounges, private offices, grounds, and specified portions of dining halls. Any areas not designated as smoking areas are presumed to be non-smoking areas.

It is the responsibility of the dean, director, or other chief administrative officer to enforce the smoking policy in those buildings or portions of buildings under his or her control.
